Shannon Rosario-CLOSED

Shannon M. Rosario, PharmD, BCACP is a member of Summit Health’s Clinical Pharmacy team. Dr. Rosario specializes in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy, is certified in Medication Therapy Management, and is trained in pharmacy immunization. Before joining Summit Health, Dr. Rosario was an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist with a large wellness program on Long Island. She also has experience as a supervising pharmacist at CVS Health. Dr. Rosario pursued a career in health care to make a difference in patients’ lives by helping them improve their overall health. She says, “It’s important for patients to be involved in decisions related to their medical care and for providers to work together as a team to ensure each patient achieves optimal outcomes. During each visit I make sure my patient fully understands the importance of their medication regimen and is knowledgeable of all possible side effects, so they have the best chance at a positive outcome.” When not working, Dr. Rosario enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and taking in the outdoors.
