Before joining Summit Health, Dr. Boni was in private practice in Kearny and Bayonne. Dr. Boni volunteers with the non-profit medical group Waves of Health. Twice a year, a Waves of Health team travels to Dajabón, Dominican Republic to provide free medical care and pharmacy services to under-served communities.

One of Dr. Boni’s most important jobs is teaching the next generation of Osteopathic physicians. He serves as Assistant Professor of Clinical Internal Medicine at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is the chief of the Internal Medicine rotation for the third-year students at UNE’s New Jersey clinical teaching site.

In the warm weather when not at work, Dr. Boni can be found down the shore with his family and friends.

That work has extended to volunteerism serving underprivileged patient populations.In his free time, Dr. Khateeb also enjoys reading, playing musical instruments, and traveling.
