Before joining Summit Health Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine in 1998, Julio C. Diaz, MD, FAAP, was in private practice with Summit Pediatric Associates. Former Director of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at Summit Health, he has been a faculty member and attending physician at Overlook Medical Center and a medical team member of the Overlook Medical Center Children's Neuromuscular Center.Dr. Diaz is a fellow of the American Board of Hospital Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics, and Society for Clinical Pediatrics. He is a diplomate of the American College of Ethical Physicians, American Board of Pediatrics, American Board of Medical Specialists, and American Board of Hospital Physicians. He is a fellow in several professional societies including the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, the European Society of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society. He currently serves as President of the International Society of Holter and Noninvasive Electrocardiology.Dr. Steinberg has been recognized by his peers as a Top Doctor in New York Magazine for numerous years, and was the only New Jersey electrophysiologist selected in 2016.
