While at Harvard Medical School, she helped to develop the new and innovative pathway curriculum for first and second year medical students. She was the founder and director of Brigham and Women's Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Neutrophilic Dermatoses Clinic and their Dermatology-Gastroenterology multidisciplinary clinic. She also served as the assistant program director for the dermatology-rheumatology fellowship, which allowed her to mentor and train numerous dermatology residents and fellows. Additionally, she spent considerable time teaching dermatology residents surgery, cosmetic lasers, and injections.When she is not working, Dr. Patel-Cohen enjoys traveling, reading for pleasure, running and most importantly spending time with her friends and family.
