Mital Patel-Cohen, MD is part of Summit Healths Dermatology department. Dr. Patel-Cohen is a highly experienced dermatologist who has dedicated her career to high quality patient care, clinical innovation, and research in auto-inflammatory diseases. Her areas of expertise include complex medical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology (lasers, fillers, neuromodulators). Dr. Patel-Cohen is a widely respected national expert in the areas of psoriasis and hidradenitis suppurativa and has made countless contributions to research by publishing over twenty papers in major dermatology journals. She has been an invited speaker at numerous local, regional, national and international meetings. Additionally, she has directed several sessions at the American Academy of Dermatology and has served as a Co-Director for the Interdisciplinary Autoimmune Summit.Dr. Patel-Cohen completed her internship at The Mount Sinai Medical Center, followed by a dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She served as Chief Resident of her program and was voted Resident of the Year at King's County Hospital. After residency, she completed a fellowship in Dermatology-Rheumatology at Brigham and Women's Medical Center followed by The Rabkin Fellowship in Medical Education at the Shapiro Institute for Education and Research at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.Prior to joining Summit Health, Dr. Patel-Cohen was an attending physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital and an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School. While at Harvard Medical School, she helped to develop the new and innovative pathway curriculum for first and second year medical students. She was the founder and director of Brigham and Women's Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Neutrophilic Dermatoses Clinic and their Dermatology-Gastroenterology multidisciplinary clinic. She also served as the assistant program director for the dermatology-rheumatology fellowship, which allowed her to mentor and train numerous dermatology residents and fellows. Additionally, she spent considerable time teaching dermatology residents surgery, cosmetic lasers, and injections.When she is not working, Dr. Patel-Cohen enjoys traveling, reading for pleasure, running and most importantly spending time with her friends and family.

Stephanie Badalamenti, MD, PhD, also previously known as Dr. Silos, has more than 12 years of experience in general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers. Her expertise includes pediatric, adolescent, and adult dermatology. In addition to her position at Summit Health, Dr. Badalamenti is Assistant Attending Dermatologist at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Dr. Badalamenti's outstanding training and work with esteemed dermatologists from all over the world allow her to successfully treat a wide range of complex dermatology cases. She is one of few physicians in New Jersey to achieve the status of Meaningful Use, a national government initiative to improve health care. In addition, Dr. Badalamenti has participated in the Physician Quality Reporting System since its inception. She has focused on advanced technology to enhance quality and services to her patients.Before joining Summit Health, Dr. Badalamenti practiced privately in West Orange, New Jersey. She has delivered local, regional, national, and international invited presentations in her field. She is the author and coauthor of abstracts, articles, and book chapters concerning topics in dermatology, which are published in prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals. In addition, she is a contributing author for Comprehensive Dermatologic Drug Therapy, the gold standard textbook for dermatologic treatment. She is listed in Castle Connolly's "Top Doctors" and has been featured in New Jersey Monthly "Top Doctors" listings.Dr. Badalamenti's inspiration to practice dermatology came from her desire to provide the most advanced medical dermatology in a welcoming, patient-centered environment. Filipe M. Feiteiro, PA-C, is a dedicated member of Summit Health's Neurosurgery team, specializing in the treatment of neurological conditions that require surgical intervention. With a background in general surgery trauma and extensive experience in patient care and education, Mr. Feiteiro is committed to enhancing the surgical skills and knowledge of both patients and medical staff. Born in Portugal and raised in New Jersey, Mr. Feiteiro's passion for medicine was ignited through volunteer work with a local rescue squad. He holds a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies and is actively involved in various medical affiliations, emphasizing his commitment to both patient care and professional development.
