Boris Reydel, MD, specializes in liver and digestive diseases, including hemorrhoid treatment, inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome, gastrointestinal tumors, and bile duct treatment. Dr. Reydel's expertise includes therapeutic endoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and endoscopic laser treatment.A renowned inventor, Dr. Reydel has recently developed the airless colonoscopy method. In addition, he developed a specialized small-bowel feeding tube that is used worldwide. He is a concept developer for US Gastrointestinal (GI) Medical, a leader in transendoscopic surgical options. He is the coauthor of articles and abstracts that are published in the prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals Gastroenterology, American Heart Journal, and New England Journal of Medicine.Dr. Reydel has practiced with New Jersey Physicians since 1993. He is Former Chairman in the Department of Gastroenterology at Passaic Beth Israel Hospital.
