An Clar School of Irish Dance

An Clár School of Irish Dance, established in 2011 in Albany, New York, and later expanded to Byram Sussex County, New Jersey, offers classes for children aged 3 and up, from beginners to championship level dancers. Under the guidance of Lexa Hickey, ADCRG, students not only learn the art of Irish dance but also benefit from improved coordination, physical activity, self-discipline, listening skills, socialization, and exposure to a rich cultural heritage.

With the opportunity to compete at local, regional, national, and international levels, as well as perform at dance-outs and the annual An Clár dinner dance, students at An Clár School of Irish Dance experience the joy and rewards of this centuries-old tradition, regardless of their Irish heritage.
