History

We started Spark in 2017 after struggling with the lack of services available for children in the area with multiple therapy needs and sensory support. We started out with one office and only offered Speech Therapy but we have since grown and now offer Occupational Therapy, Literacy support, and enrichment activities such as art and acting classes for children of all ages and abilities. We now offer ILS sensory programs and have a new sensory space in the clinic with a ball pit, glow cave, climbing towers, rock wall, and more.

Specialties

We specialize in Pediatric Speech and Occupational Therapies in a warm and comforting environment with a team of therapists who work together to achieve your child's goals. We now offer a sensory-safe gym and place space.

Our son has had a wonderful experience at Spark. He's actually asking for longer sessions which is so rare! Thanks for creating activities that he looks forward to all week!

New London Hospital-Newport Physical Therapy

New London Hospital is dedicated to providing quality primary care and specialized clinical services in a caring environment. New London Hospital (NLH) is a 25-bed rural community hospital with a 58-bed long term extended care center dedicated to serving the Lake Sunapee region in central New Hampshire. Although our mission is virtually the same today as it was at our founding in 1918 - to provide quality primary care and specialized clinical services in a caring environment - we continue to grow and evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of the communities we serve. New London Hospital offers primary care for the entire family, ambulance and emergency services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, a 24-hour emergency department, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, acute and critical care, and a full array of surgical services including orthopedics. In addition, we provide a warm and caring environment for residents of our Clough Extended Care Center. We offer a wide range of wellness and prevention programs, such as CPR and first aid, and sponsor several community benefit programs such as a school-based health care center. A Critical Access Hospital In April of 2003, NLH received designation as a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) after a successful survey of the hospital by the state of New Hampshire. CAH is a federal program designed to support small rural non-profit hospitals across the country. Under CAH, New London Hospital maintains 15 acute care inpatient beds and 10 swing beds (beds for patients who need hospitalization but are not considered acute care patients) for a total of 25 beds. Another important part of CAH status includes an established relationship with a tertiary care hospital, met by a collaborative agreement with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. A unique collaborative relationship with DHMC went into effect on April 1, 2003, when Bruce P. King became the President and CEO of NLH. The Board of Trustees of NLH approved a management contract with DHMC, which allows NLH to retain its independence and autonomy while providing a wide range of management services. 603-526-2911 273 County Road, NH 03257 New London 2011 Privacy Statement Sitemap
