Seven Magic Mountains is a large-scale public art installation created by internationally renowned Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, located near Jean Dry Lake and Interstate 15, approximately ten miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada. The installation features seven colorful towers of stacked boulders, each standing over thirty feet high, contributing a vibrant and creative expression in the desert landscape of the Mojave.
Produced by the Nevada Museum of Art and Art Production Fund, Seven Magic Mountains opened on May 11, 2016, and was initially set for a two-year display. Due to its immense popularity, efforts are underway to extend its exhibition period, allowing visitors to continue enjoying this unique artistic landmark for years to come.
