HistoryWhile working as a Collection Representative in the Automated Collection System (ACS) department of the IRS, I received calls from taxpayers burdened by their IRS tax debts. Many of those taxpayers were overwhelmed and extremely frightened. As an IRS employee I was very limited in the type of information I could share to bring about resolution to their tax obligations. I had inside knowledge but could not share it because of the conflict of interest. Compelled to make a difference and offer hope to taxpayers, I resigned my position with the IRS and immediately pursued a career as an Enrolled Agent. As an Enrolled Agent, I have earned the privilege of practicing, which is, representing taxpayers, before the Internal Revenue Service.
