Located in rural, north-central Nebraska, Valley Hope of O’Neill has provided effective, affordable residential treatment for substance use disorder since 1977. Valley County Hospital, located in Ord, Neb., is a 25-bed critical access hospital, and is a member of the Nebraska Association of Hospitals and Health Systems. The hospital offers various services, such as outpatient services, acute care, 24-hour emergency room, hospice, radiology, coronary intensive care unit, wellness center and specialty clinics. Outpatient specialty clinics include cardiology; endoscopy; dietary; nuclear medicine; magnetic resonance imaging; orthopedics; ear, nose and throat; urology; cataract surgery; podiatry; and obstetrics and gynecology. The hospital also provides various home health care services, such as registered nurses; home health aides; physical and occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. Its services include therapy for nutritional support; treatment of infection; pain management; hydration and chemotherapy; post-surgical care; and wound therapy. Valley County Hospital owns and operates rural medical clinics, such as Ord Family Health Center and Burwell Medical Clinic.
