Sumera Younus, MD

Maeghan Wegener, NP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine and cardiovascular disease. She completed her training at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri. Maeghan sees patients ages 18 and above for cardiovascular conditions, focusing primarily on cardiac arrhythmias, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, and pacemakers. Maeghan provides evidence-based care that focuses on the condition and the patient as a whole. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Maeghan was a registered nurse for six years, including managing the treatment of cardiac patients. Maeghan is originally from Sedalia, Missouri. She moved to St. Louis in 2020, where she currently lives with her husband and their dog. She enjoys taking her dog on walks and trying out new restaurants, especially those with tacos. She provides preventative care, including annual wellness exams, vaccinations, pre-employment physicals and school and sports physicals. She specializes in managing minor illnesses and injuries, cold and flu symptoms, and chronic conditions, including asthma, allergies, ADHD, anxiety, COPD, depression, diabetes, heart failure, high cholesterol, obesity, osteoporosis, thyroid disease, tobacco use and urinary tract infections. Sharon also prescribes weight management medications and can assist with advanced directives and planning for end-of-life care. Sharon is committed to building meaningful relationships with patients to prevent and manage chronic conditions. She is passionate about providing high-quality healthcare services and contributing to the community. Sharon listens to her patients' needs and collaborates to improve their health. Sharon is from St. Louis, Missouri, and enjoys riding horses, traveling, hiking, gardening and attending art fairs and concerts. Sharon earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri and her Master of Science in Nursing, Adult Nurse Practitioner, at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. Aryn Whiting, NP-C, is a certified Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Internal Medicine.
