Nathan K. Woodward, DO

Kelly Gast, MD, is a fellowship-trained and board-certified hematology oncologist. Dr Gast believes excellent cancer care requires personalized treatment. She develops an individualized care plan for each patient focused on treating the whole person.

Thomas Bemis, MD, is a board-certified hematology oncologist with Saint Luke’s Cancer Specialists. Dr Bemis has clinical interests in lung cancer, breast cancer, lymphoma, and benign hematology. Dr Bemis enjoys building lasting relationships with his patients and partnering with them in their health care and treatment decisions. When not caring for patients, Dr Bemis enjoys spending time with his wife and family.

Verda Hicks, MD, is a fellowship-trained gynecological oncologist with Saint Luke’s Cancer Specialists. Dr Hicks has extensive training treating preinvasive vulvar, vaginal, and cervical disease. She is passionate about cancer prevention, especially types of cancer that can be prevented with vaccination, such as cervical, vaginal, vulvar, anal, and head and neck cancers. She also has interest in genetic counseling and testing for patients at risk for familial cancers of breast, uterus, ovary, and colon. Dr Hicks is committed to her patient's needs during chemotherapy, as well as post-chemotherapy follow-up and survivorship. A woman's needs during and post-chemotherapy care are unique and sometimes require specialized support.
