MidCity Excellence (MCE), founded in 2001, is a community-focused organization located in St. Joseph, Missouri, offering free afterschool programs for youth from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Serving over 200 participants annually across 13 schools and 9 ethnicities, MCE addresses generational poverty, juvenile crime, and poor mental health through mentoring and performing arts initiatives.
