I've always been interested in primary care and Mercy because I believe in treating people as they are meant to be treated. The best part of being a physician assistant is being able to be part of a team and collaborating with my physician. For patients who haven't met me, I'm interested in learning your backstory. I want to know why you are who you are.

I enjoy caring for people of all ages, from babies to the elderly. My approach with patients is to be a good listener and allow them to express all their concerns. I work together with patients to improve their health. Serving families in the community I grew up in has been rewarding.

At age 19, I had pulmonary emboli in both lungs and nearly died. My care team was amazing and compassionate, which inspired me to pursue nursing. As a family nurse practitioner, I provide compassionate care throughout a patient's lifespan. I find providing lifetime care to be very rewarding.
