Established in 1975, Methodist Rehabilitation Center is a rehabilitation hospital providing rehabilitation services for people with neurological and orthopedic disorders. Based in Flowood, Miss., it holds expertise in treating amputation, joint and back pain, brain injuries, long term care, neurological disease, orthopedics, spinal cord injuries and stroke. Methodist Rehabilitation Center has specialty clinics, which include neuro clinics, orthotics and prosthetics, outpatient therapy center, pain management center and spine and joint center. It undertakes program designed to help brain injured patients and is accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International for inpatient rehabilitation services.

The St. Dominic Ambulatory Surgery Center will provide a convenient, safe and cost effective alternative to inpatient surgery and hospital outpatient surgery by assuring optimal levels of patient care through the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative periods of the patient's care. Physicians and St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital joined together to open St. Dominic ASC in 1999 to provide personal attention and quality services to their patients in and around Hinds County. The Center maintains a nursing staff with extensive hospital operating room and pre-post op experience Four fully equipped operating rooms and three procedure rooms are the focus of the 14, 943 square foot facility featuring the most current advances in medical technology. The Surgery Center serves the specialties of Anesthesiology/Pain Management, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Oral Surgery, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat), Plastic Surgery and Urology. St. Dominic ASC is a state licensed and Medicare approved facility, affiliated with most major HMOs and PPO's and is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc (AAAHC).
