Operational since 1970, Central Michigan District Health Department is a provider of preventative health care, education and environmental safety solutions to all members of the community. Located in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., it conducts various health promotion programs in the categories of HIV testing and counseling, senior wellness, community based outreach activities, cardiovascular disease screenings, etc. The environmental health services provided include bathing beach water quality testing, subdivision/site condo development program, swimming pool/restaurant/campground inspections and more.

The Montcalm Center for Behavioral Health is a community mental health authority serving Montcalm County, Michigan. We provide services and supports for people with serious and persistent mental illness, developmental disabilities, and children with severe emotional disturbances. In addition, we provide emergency services to anyone in the community, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
