Old Bridgewater Historical
The Old Bridgewater Historical Society is dedicated to promoting education and research regarding the history of the original township of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, and its inhabitants. Through the collection, preservation, exhibition, and interpretation of historical materials and artifacts, the Society aims to share the rich history of Old Bridgewater with the community.
Housed in the Memorial Building, which was built on land donated by one of the town's early settlers, the Society also oversees the Keith House, believed to be the oldest existing parsonage in the United States. Established in 1662, this historic site played a significant role during King Philip's War as a garrison house.
