J.P. Fine is founder and principal of Rubicon Real Estate, a development and management company based in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Mr. Fine's primary responsibilities include identifying and closing acquisitions and managing day-to-day operations of the company and its properties. In September of 1999, after working in the finance and acquisitions department of Grossman Companies, Inc, Mr. Fine purchased and redeveloped Gateway Plaza, a shopping center located in Randolph, Mass. Since then, he has purchased three additional shopping centers. He founded Rubicon Real Estate in 2002. Mr. Fine is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He graduated from The University of Vermont. Paul M. Bernon is a principal of Rubicon Real Estate. Mr. Bernon's primary responsibilities include investment acquisitions and business development. Mr. Bernon previously worked as a project manager for Intercontinental Companies. At Intercontinental, Mr. Bernon was responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing of their residential properties and assisting with institutional requests for proposals. He joined Rubicon Real Estate Holdings in 2004. Mr. Bernon is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He graduated from Boston University's College of Communication and New York University's Institute. Christopher Mearn serves as vice president of leasing and acquisitions Rubicon Real Estate. Mr. Mearn's primary responsibilities include leasing, investment acquisitions, and property management. In April of 2007, after working for two years at Boston Realty Advisors in the retail division, Mr. Mearn joined Staubach Company as a retail broker specializing in fashion and lifestyle retailers, anchor and junior retailers and food and drug retailers. Top clients include Wal-Mart, Kimco Realty and Crosspoint Associates. Mr. Mearn serves as a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers as well as a member of the ICSC Next Generation Group. Mr. Mearn graduated from Babson College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
