Since 2002, the Merrimack Valley Endoscopy Center (MVEC) is the areas leading resource for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. We perform specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including colonoscopy, esophagogastroscopy, small bowel enteroscopy, and esophageal dilation. Located in the Mass General Brigham Community Physicians Healthcare Center in Haverhill (formerly Pentucket Medical Associates), the Merrimack Valley Endoscopy Center is part of an integrated healthcare system with a fully-equipped imaging center on-site. In addition to performing endoscopy procedures at the Merrimack Valley Endoscopy Center, our gastroenterologists also practice at the MGB Tuscan facility in Salem, NH, and three local community hospitalsHoly Family Hospital in Methuen, MA, Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill, MA, and Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport, MA. Our facility is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAHC) and licensed by Medicare. Our endoscopy center staff have been recognized for our commitment to delivering quality and safe patient care and were awarded the Excellence in Professionalism Award by the American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurses (ABCGN).
