Everett C Benton Library
The Everett C. Benton Library, located at the corner of Oakley and Old Middlesex Roads in Belmont, MA, is a non-profit independent library run by volunteers and supported entirely by donations. Established in 2011 and operated by the Friends of the Benton Library, it offers a diverse collection of over 7,500 catalogued books, including bestsellers, mysteries, and a growing children's and young adult collection.
Currently, the library is temporarily closed, with plans to reopen in 2025 after the Belmont Public Library's new building on Concord Avenue is completed. During the closure, the library remains committed to its mission and continues to sponsor activities while offering services for children through the Belmont Public Library at a different location.
