Comfort Cases is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing dignity and support to youth entering the foster care system by delivering backpacks filled with essential items like pajamas and toiletries. Founded by Rob Scheer, who experienced the challenges of foster care firsthand, the organization aims to eliminate trash bags from the foster care experience and instill hope in children facing uncertainty.
Through the collaboration of dedicated volunteers and generous donors, Comfort Cases has distributed over 250,000 Comfort Cases to children in all 50 states and beyond since its inception in 2013.
