Anja Frost, M.D. is a Gyn/Ob practitioner and is a part of the minimally invasive surgery group and multidisciplinary Fibroid Center under the Division of Gynecologic Specialties at Johns Hopkins. She is also the director of robotic simulation in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Dr. Frost completed her medical education at the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences before completing residency training in Gyn/Ob at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She then completed a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and was recruited to remain at Johns Hopkins as a faculty member. Dr. Frost is a Miller Coulson Academy of Clinical Excellence Award recipient.Her research interests include optimization of the patient experience regarding postoperative pain control, and quality improvement projects to optimize surgical workflow and patient safety. Her other professional interests include minimally invasive surgery and treatment of fibroids, adenomyosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis and ovarian cysts.

Dr. Michele A. Manahan is a professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is dedicated to providing the highest levels of plastic surgical techniques, including microvascular and other breast reconstruction with oncoplastic techniques and aesthetics. Dr. Manahan is actively researching operative methods to maximize results and minimize complications. She has published multiple book chapters and scientific papers in national peer-reviewed journals. She performs all aspects of plastic surgery with a special focus on the unification of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast.
