A warm and welcoming art gallery. The wonderful hosts and adorable dog, Truffle, were delightful company as we browsed the wide variety of art! The top deck is worth a visit.

The Wright Gallery, a Cape Porpoise landmark for over three decades, showcases an impressive collection of fine art in the heart of Kennebunkport, Maine. With a focus on seascapes, landscapes, and local subject matter, this eclectic gallery features the works of more than forty artists, spanning a wide range of styles from super-realism to impressionism.
Housed in a beautifully converted 19th-century post-and-beam building, originally used for storing timber for shipbuilders, The Wright Gallery invites visitors to explore its two floors and admire paintings in various mediums such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel. We visited a number of galleries in the area and found this one to be among the best. I particularly enjoyed the paintings by Dennis Poierer, Ingunn Milla Joorgensen and David Whitlock.
