Moss Galleries

Moss Galleries is a woman-owned fine art gallery in Portland and Falmouth, Maine. We represent an eclectic group of Maine-influenced artists—from Maine-based artists to the New York City artists who summer here. We have an inventory of over 700 works in varying styles from abstractions to figurative works to landscapes and seascapes, from emerging and established artists in the primary market to world-renowned artists in the secondary market. The majority of the artists represented by Moss Galleries are women, including Lynne Drexler, Lois Dodd and Frances Hynes. Certified by the Appraisers Association of America, Moss Galleries has over 20 years of art advisory experience in the contemporary and established art markets. We’ve exhibited works in international art fairs, the Art in Embassies program and private collections in the U.S. and abroad. We also offer art advising, curating and installation services for designers and architects as well as private collectors.
