Jamar A. Melton, MD

Dr. Patricia DePuy Whatley was born in New Orleans but lived overseas as a child. She performed her undergraduate studies through LSU and earned her M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2005. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics through the University of Alabama-Birmingham, completing her program in 2009. While at UAB, she served as Chief Resident between 2008-09 and was UAB House Staff President in that same period. Dr. Whatley holds a license to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana and is board-certified in Internal Medicine and received training in Women's Health. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the International Society of Travel Medicine. In her practice, she holds a special interest in women's health, adolescent care, and travel medicine. Dr. Whatley also speaks Spanish fluently.

Dr. Meredith Pugh Rouse was born in New Orleans and grew up in Baton Rouge. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University in 2011 and a Medical Degree from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2016. Following medical school, she returned to Baton Rouge where she completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the LSU Health and Sciences Center in 2019. Thereafter, she served as Chief Resident from 2019 to 2020. Dr. Rouse is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. She is a member of the American College of Physicians (ACP). Dr. Rouse is married to her high school sweetheart, and they have one son. She is an alumna of St. Joseph's Academy. She enjoys spending time with family, cooking, reading, and going to the beach.

Dr. Daniel J. Moore, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Business Administration from Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2016 and his Medical Degree from LSU Health and Science Center at New Orleans in 2020. Dr. Moore completed his residency in Pediatric Medicine at Oklahoma University Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK in 2023. Dr. Moore is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association. Dr. Moore is married to his wife, Jeannie, and while not at the office, he enjoys boating at False River, cooking, enjoying LSU football tailgating, hosting crawfish boils, sailing, and traveling.
