City Park Botanical Gardens
The New Orleans Botanical Garden spans ten acres and features over 2,000 varieties of plants from around the world, showcasing the historical influence of the Works Progress Administration. Established in 1936, it remains one of the few public gardens designed during that era, reflecting the Art Deco style of its architects and artists.
In addition to its diverse plant life, the garden includes the Helis Foundation Enrique Alfrez Sculpture Garden, the Historic New Orleans Train Garden, and the Conservatory of the Two Sisters, which features immersive exhibits. The Botanical Garden also offers beautiful settings for various events, including weddings and corporate gatherings, amidst its lush landscapes.
