Wendy Warren, PA-C joined Children's Orthopedics of Louisville as a physician assistant in 2018 after spending more than 19 years practicing in primary pediatrics." Working closely with our team of physicians, I help to provide continuity of care for our patients", states Wendy. Wendy Warren has interest in treating bone development, acute injuries, neuromuscular disorders and cerebral palsy. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, running and attending sporting events.

Kristie Shelton, APRN, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner with Norton Childrens Infectious Diseases, a title she has held with the practice since 2007.Her clinical care responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing and treating patients in the practices outpatient clinic, coordinating care for pediatric patients with HIV infection, HCV infection, and other primary immune deficiencies. She also is the practice coordinator for patients receiving intravenous antibiotics.Her goal is to be a trusted source of medical information for families that helps them understand their child's disease process, guiding them in making medical decisions.Kristies clinical and research areas of interest including HIV and hepatitis C, with an additional research focus on vaccines.Kristie first came to Louisville in 1999, when she served as a staff nurse in the Just for Kids Critical Center. She spent nearly two years as a nurse coordinator with the University of Louisvilles pediatric clinical trials unit. In 2001, she joined the universitys pediatric infectious diseases team as a nurse coordinator, coordinating and reviewing laboratory and radiology tests, triaging phone calls to referring physicians, and educating parents and children on diseases processes.She graduated in 1998 with her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Kentucky and earned her Master of Science in nursing in 2006 from Indiana University.When she isnt with her patients, she enjoys cooking, playing golf, riding rollercoasters, and visiting small towns.

Navjyot Kaur Vidwan joined Norton Childrens in 2013. Her background includes a double major in Biology as well as Anthropology from Vanderbilt University. She completed medical school training at University College Dublin (Ireland). This experience helped broaden her global view on the different styles of healthcare delivery. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center in the Pediatric Infectious Diseases training fellowship at Cincinnati Childrens. She was chosen as one of twelve clinical fellows in the nation to be granted an NIH Fogarty International Research Fellow Grant. She completed an MPH at UNC-Chapel Hill on Global Health and Leadership with distinctions in project management and quality. With a public health perspective, she strives to focus on health equity and delivery for her patients and recognizes how social determinants of health impact daily medical needs.Dr. Vidwan is the antimicrobial stewardship director at Norton Childrens Hospital. Her other passion is quality improvement and enjoys projects which encompass her work in both the pediatric hospitalist and ID divisions. She also enjoys teaching and is the Associate Pediatric Medical Student Clerkship Director.
