Lauren R. Albers, M.D., is a cardiologist with Norton Heart & Vascular Institute. She has clinical experience in preventive cardiology as well as women’s heart health. Dr. Albers earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, West Indies, Grenada. She completed her residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at University of Louisville Hospital, Kentucky. Dr. Albers is passionate about cardiovascular health because she wants to provide patients with the proper tools to engage in their own health inside and outside of the medical setting. A Florida native, she currently lives in Louisville with her fiancé and enjoys hiking and camping in her free time.

Dr. Tate is actively involved in research focused on developing cutting-edge technologies and rehabilitation for patients as well as working to improve care for years to come.Dr. Tate is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Association for Hand Surgery, the American College of Surgeons and the Hospital for Special Surgery Alumni Association. He is chairman of the Historian and Museum Curator Committee of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He also is an editorial reviewer for the journal Injury and the Journal of Hand Surgery, American Volume. Away from the office Dr. Tate enjoys spending time with his children, long distance running, reading, music and studying languages.
