Dr. Darren Farber joined Norton Children’s Hospital and the University of Louisville in 2007, after completing his child neurology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr Farber has a multitude of clinical interests, and has been instrumental in building the Division of Child Neurology over the last 10 years. He is a co-director of the University of Louisville neuro-genetics clinic, and a founding member of the comprehensive neuro-oncology clinic. He also serves as medical director of the child neurology outpatient clinic/downtown campus. He cares of patients with a variety of neurological disorders, including Neuro-oncology, developmental disorders, epilepsy, migraine/headaches, movements disorders, neuro-muscle disorders and cerebral palsy. Rain worked as a registered nurse at Norton Children’s Hospital while completing the family nurse practitioner program at Bellarmine University. Since graduation, she has been working as a nurse practitioner in pediatrics. Her primary goal is to provide quality, evidence-based care, while ensuring that her patients and their families are informed and well-cared for. Rain and her husband, Justin, have a son, Sumner, born in 2019. She enjoys traveling, cooking and spending the day at the lake with her friends and family.
