Rachel Kirmer, FNP-C, feels it is important to form a relationship with each of her patients. She believes that having a bond that is built on trust, respect, and understanding allows her patients to feel comfortable in her presence and trust her medical judgment.Rachel is a life-long Kansan, earning her Associate of Science in Nursing and Registered Nurse certificate from Garden City Community College. She spent 6 years working in the Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab at St Catherine Hospital before deciding to go on for her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, UT and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN. Rachel is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.Rachel enjoys spending time with those she loves, especially her husband and their two dogs. Some of Rachels hobbies include reading, traveling, and listening to live red dirt country music. She is also active in her faith and believes that God put her on earth to enrich the life of everyone she cares for, and she tries to fulfill this calling to the best of her ability.

Rodrigue Rod Fontem, MD, works as a team with his patients to arrive at the best treatment plan for their specific needs. As a colorectal and general surgeon, Dr. Fontem treats patients with a variety of conditions including colon cancer, diverticular disease, stoma complications, pilonidal disease, and more. He performs procedures like small bowel resections, cholecystectomy (gall bladder removal), hernia repair, and sacral nerve stimulator placement. Dr. Fontem attended Garden City Community College and Olivet Nazarene University for his undergraduate studies. He then went on to complete medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed an internship at the University of Texas in Houston and a residency at St. Lukes University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Dr. Fontem also completed a colorectal surgery fellowship at Southern Illinois University.Some of Dr. Fontems hobbies include soccer, traveling, and spending time with his family.
