MECCA Services, or the Mid-Eastern Council on Chemical Abuse Services, is a community-based, not-for-profit organization offering substance abuse and behavioral health services. The firm has eight locations in of Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, Polk, Warren, and Washington counties in Iowa. MECCA Services programs span the entire treatment and prevention continuum, including substance abuse prevention, early intervention, evaluation, detoxification, treatment and aftercare. The firm s staff expertise includes substance abuse counseling, psychiatry, vocational rehabilitation, psychology, clinical social work, public health, teaching, and nursing.
