Robert Young Center For Community Mental Health

Located in Rock Island, Ill., Riverside Recovery Center is a hospital-based chemical dependency treatment program of the Robert Young Center and offers inpatient and outpatient services for adults and adolescents with substance abuse problems. Established in 1972, it offers a wide variety of services, including 24-hour emergency treatment and crisis intervention, medical detoxification, relaxation techniques, driving under the influence assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and after care and recreational programs. The center also provides positive living instructions and introduction to self-help groups, including Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. It offers treatment for individuals with gambling problems and provides individual, group and family outpatient therapy programs. The center provides a substance abuse evaluation program that includes objective testing, structured clinical interviews and consultations with corroborative sources. Riverside Recovery Center is licensed by the Illinois Department of Alcohol and Substance Abuse. Robert Young Center is a part of the Trinity Regional Health System, a regional nonprofit health care organization.
