Nicole Meyer, PA-C

Brittan McKinney, PA-C joined The Iowa Clinic Cardiology department after working in a Trauma & Critical Care position since 2022. Having been a scribe for Iowa Clinic providers in previous years, Brittan admired their dedication to patient care and willingness to teach, which is what drove her to The Iowa Clinic. The complexity and challenges that come along with Cardiology is what Brittan loves most, specifically the pathophysiology of the heart. Playing a part in patient recoveries from significant illnesses is one of the most rewarding parts for Brittan, so she takes extra time with patients and families to educate them about various aspects about their health.

Anthony Urbanski, PA-C joined The Iowa Clinic Urgent Care because of the patient-focused care and encouraging team-based environment. Prior to working in Urgent Care, Anthony practiced in Orthopaedics for five years. He finds that Urgent Care allows him the opportunity of continued education, which he values in a specialty. For Anthony, providing excellent treatment to the families of central Iowa is the most rewarding part of his job. Outside of work, Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife, golfing, riding his bike, and taking walks with his dog. If we wasn’t in medicine, he might have been a teacher or a coach.

Elizabeth Thompson, PA-C joined The Iowa Clinic in 2023 because she wanted to practice excellent medicine with fellow providers in a robust practice. She chose Internal Medicine because she enjoys looking at the systems of the body and how they balance each other in health and disease. Something she finds most rewarding is forming meaningful connections with her patients! Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time practicing yoga, gardening, or spending time with friends and family. She loves to cook new vegan food, especially Indian dishes! If she had not become a provider, she might have been an interior designer.
