As an undergraduate, she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and the Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemistry Honorary Society. In 2001, Dr. Debikey graduated from the University of Florida School of Medicine. S he subsequently went on to complete her residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Royal Oak, Michigan, in 2005. She received the Society for Laparoendoscopic Surgeons' resident achievement award for laparoscopic surgery. Her spouse, Dr. Daniel Debikey, is from Speedway, Indiana, and they chose to settle in Indianapolis. She has been working with Obstetrics and Gynecology of Indiana as a Board Certified OB/GYN since moving from Michigan. She is also a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has received the Castle Connolly Top Doctors Award in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015, the Patient's Choice Award 2008-2009 and 2011-2013, and the Compassionate Doctor Recognition 2011-2013.
