Welcome to Girl Scouts of Raintree Council! We are one of more than 100 councils chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA. Each year, the council serves more than 10, 000 girls and 2, 500 volunteer adults in eleven counties in Southwestern Indiana Posey, Gibson, Vanderburgh, Warrick, Pike, Daviess, Knox, Martin, Dubois, Spencer, and Perry Counties. Girl Scouts is the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls all girls where, in an accepting, nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. SpecialtiesUnited Way of Southwestern Indiana works with government, businesses, faith groups, nonprofit organizations and local citizens to help people overcome crisis situations and rebuild their lives. The Vanderburgh County Medical Society is a non-profit association that has been advocating for Vanderburgh County physicians since 1845. With over 500 local physician members, it is the only organization in the county dedicated solely to physicians' interests. The VCMS promotes the art and science of medicine and works towards the betterment of public health.
