They have a full basketball court, but it's tile floor. Overall great fitness center. I would recommend larger towels so that members can shower at the gym. Still, I'm happy with my membership...

Spent today on one of the day trips and had a wonderful time. Everything handled and all we had to do was enjoy ourselves. Couldn't have been better. Thanks Kim and Ruth for a job well done.

The only thing this "Park district" building has going for it is the gym. The workout room is pathetic, like a hotel one only more crowded.

Memorial Park District

The Memorial Park District manages several facilities, such as recreation centers, playgrounds, parks, swimming pools, tennis courts, meeting halls, football fields and a gymnasium. Its recreation center occupies a space of more than 30,000 square feet and offers fitness programs. The district sponsors senior clubs for adults of 55 years and above. It also organizes adult fitness classes that include yoga, aerobics and womens body sculpting. The district s sewing classes offer the basics of pattern layout, fabric cutting and construction. Additionally, the district provides sports opportunities for youth, including dodgeball, karate, bowling, softball and soccer. The Memorial Park District also organizes summer camps that include sports, games, crafts, nature, movies and special events. Located in Hillside, Ill., the district administers a playground that is handicapped accessible.
