Quality food with impressive service all for a great price. In a very welcoming environment. Inside and outside dining options that were comfortable. Wish I'd found this place sooner.

Sisters Lucia and Giuliana opened Trattoria D.O.C.'s doors one fine spring day back in 2006 after having successfully opened and run Pizza D.OC in Lincoln Square in 1999. D.O.C. is an acronym for "Denominazione Di Origine Controllata", a wine appellation which requires that a product be produced following strict guidelines to ensure quality standards. Our attention to detail and time honored recipes, along with our predilection for using organically grown fresh produce, sustainable and environmentally friendly fish and meats are the reasons we call ourselves “D.O.C" For us, typical Italian cuisine means cooking with original ingredients from Italy and putting heart and soul into doing it. Nevertheless, we have not restricted ourselves to any particular region.

Food was amazing!!!! Service was great!!! Prices were perfect. This place is truly a hidden gem. The salad was one of the best salads I've ever had in my life. I would go back just for the salad.
