History

We began on Lincoln Avenue in 1981, had venues at Fullerton and Clybourne, on North Avenue and now on Elston; Charter core members of The National New Play Network and of the League of Chicago Theaters; We host The Rhinoceros Theater Festival and Catzilla and are one of Chicago's oldest storefront theaters.

Specialties

We are a performing arts venue with two theater spaces, we incubate and produce new work, plays, movement, music, film and other time-based arts. We also rent space to and co-produce shows with guests.
