Southshore Drill Team

Founded in 1980 by Chicago public school teacher Arthur Robertson, the South Shore Drill Team is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to providing a positive and creative outlet for inner-city youth. With a focus on performing arts, the team guides young people aged 8 to 24 in developing skills, work ethic, and self-confidence while steering them away from gangs, drugs, and violence.

Known for their electrifying precision-drilling and vibrant dance routines, South Shore Drill Team performs at over 70 events annually, including prestigious gatherings like presidential inaugurations and national parades.
