Dairy Management is the domestic and international planning and management organization that builds demand for dairy products on behalf of America s 80,000-plus dairy producers. Dairy Management and international, state and regional organizations manage the American Dairy Association, the National Dairy Council and the U.S. Dairy Export Council. The company works with state and regional organizations to ensure the future success of dairy by integrating marketing, promotion, advertising, public relations, nutrition education, and research programs. More than 80,000 dairy producers are the shareholders of the dairy check off program, and more than 300 national, state and regional dairy producer board members direct program funds and approve promotion and research programs. The dairy check off exists to help increase domestic and international demand for U.S.-produced dairy products. The National Dairy Promotion and Research Board, through Dairy Management, sponsors undergraduate scholarships for the 2005-2006 academic year.
