International Association of Business Communicators

The International Association of Business Communicators, also known as IABC, provides a professional network of approximately 16,000 business communication professionals in over 70 countries. It provides online networking activities and information on employment opportunities to its members. The organization helps people and organizations achieve excellence in public relations and affairs, in addition to employee and marketing communications. IABC offers a platform for information sharing, problem solving assistance and building better relationships with stakeholders. It has memberships from various fields such as public and media relations, corporate communications, public affairs, advertising, human resources, video production and teaching. The organization has an online library that provides articles and case studies based on professional situations and challenges, as well as knowledge resource manuals and professional development sessions on a variety of topics. IABC also publishes, Communication World, an award-winning print magazine covering business trends and issues. Founded in 1970, it is located in San Francisco.
