Hope Life Center

Kreider Services, located in Dixon, Ill., is a nonprofit charitable organization, providing health and medical care programs to people with developmental disabilities. The center offers a wide range of services, such as skill training, production and creative workshops, respite care, community living, employment and individual support. Its skill training program provides services to individuals in areas of daily living activities, leisure and community access. It also provides staff assistance to individuals to participate in activities such as, prevocational skills, swimming, exercise classes, bowling, horseback riding and daily life skills. The center organizes early intervention programs for the children of ages 2-4. The intervention program includes language, speech, physical, speech and occupational therapies, motor coordination, self-help skills and individual support. The organization is approved by the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

Finding someone who understands what you are going through can be challenging. That is why we invite anyone who has been affected by cancer to attend one of our groups. Groups provide a safe, accepting environment for patients and loved ones to talk openly about the stress a cancer diagnosis brings. We have a support group for all types of cancer, as well as a group specifically for breast cancer.
