This place, another crazy physics place in Illinois (see Argonne), looks pretty neat. Unfortunately, they are pretty much closed on Sundays except you can see the great native praries they are...

Tried to go there but was unable to enter the grounds. A Real ID license or passport for each adult is now required to get in to the facility. This requirement started about a year ago.

Not even completely running. Sheesh. ;) Docent was nice, but we spent over an hour in the lobby, talking about their very thrifty founder, and their skyping conversations with the euro-version....
