Loved that there was next to a bicycle trail, you could see people passing by. We saw two deers, ducks and lots of birds and squirrels.
I like the trail along the river here where I have spotted many land and shore birds. It's quiet and shady so it's a good spot on a hot day. That being said, it can be muddy so be prepared....
Great place for birding..walking ..dirt bikes and dog walking. Natural trail along the Fox River. Connected with Jon J Duerr Forest Preserve. Small parking lot. Loop trail.
Gorgeous colors on the trails last week. We saw other families and people of all ages on the trails. Nothing was very strenuous. Lots of beautiful views along the water and colors in the forest.
