City of Zion Fire Department

Station Two is a part of the Fire and Rescue Department, which is administered by the City of Zion in Illinois. The Fire and Rescue Department provides fire suppression and emergency care and transportation services. The department also specializes in trench, confined space, water and high-angle rescue operations. It offers hazardous materials response services. The department conducts public education programs in fire safety and prevention. The Fire and Rescue Department maintains a ladder system, pumper, and a fleet of ambulances and trucks. In addition, it organizes cardiopulmonary resuscitation courses that are certified by the American Heart Association. The department's fire prevention bureau is responsible for monitoring the installation, repair and testing of fire alarm, sprinkler and automatic suppression systems.
