Orthopedic Surgeon with Fellowship Training in Sports Medicine, Shoulder, Elbow, and Knee. Dr. Nathan Wetters specializes in minimally invasive treatment of the knee and shoulder, including cartilage transplant and restoration. He completed his orthopaedic residency at Rush University Medical Center and a Sports Medicine and Shoulder & Elbow fellowship at OrthoCarolina. A member of AAOS, AANA, and AOSSM, Dr. Wetters has served as Team Physician for the Carolina Panthers and Chicago White Sox. Fellowship-trained in complex primary and revision hip and knee replacement, Jeffrey Ackerman, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstruction and hip preservation. He performs minimally invasive anterior and posterior hip replacements and is among the few trained in both hip arthroscopy and open pelvic osteotomy. Dr. Ackerman treats adolescents, young adults, and athletes with hip disorders such as labral tears, impingement, dysplasia, avascular necrosis, and pediatric hip conditions.
