The Hawai inui kea School of Hawaiian Knowledge was established in 2007 at the Manoa campus, marking the first new school created since 1982. As the only college of indigenous knowledge within a Research I institution in the United States, its mission focuses on the pursuit, perpetuation, and revitalization of Hawaiian knowledge in all its forms.
The school encompasses several key components, including the Kamakakōkalani Center for Hawaiian Studies, Kawaihuelani Center for Hawaiian Language, and Ka Papa Loʻi o Knewai Cultural Garden. Best gym on the island! Great view of the campus while working. Sits at the heart of campus so I'm able to get to class, grab a bite to eat, and workout without leaving campus.
