Japan International Karate Center (JIKC) is a traditional martial arts system founded in 1962 by Soke Kiyohisa Hirano. With a strong emphasis on mental aspects such as respect, effort, patience, honesty, and self-control, JIKC offers training in self-defense and physical fitness.
JIKC provides introductory karate programs at Iroquois Point Elementary and Holomua Elementary, as well as beginner programs at Kapolei Dojo and Pearl City. Students can expect to receive a free uniform upon enrollment and benefit from the dojo's commitment to upholding principles of propriety, courtesy, and truth.
