Hedonisia Hawaii is a post-volcano creative community that emerged after the destructive 2018 Kilauea eruption, which covered three-quarters of their property in lava. While their physical space was lost, the remaining green oasis, or kipuka, has become a symbol of resilience, leading to the development of their virtual community focused on social entrepreneurship and pleasurable activism.

The community supports a range of projects emphasizing gender equality, reproductive rights, and diversity through initiatives like the Diversity and Free Speech Communication Workshop.
